We have an exciting new role for a Partner Manager covering the South East to join a rapidly growing telecoms business for a salary of £30K plus bonus and a range of benefits including a discounted gym or sports membership.
The purpose of the role is to proactively and reactively support the management team in the day to day activity of the growing partner channel, to develop relationships and further its development with the aim to achieve increased revenue and profitability. Key responsibilities include:
Management of all incoming partner queries, offering advice and support where possible and/or field enquiries to the most relevant destination.
Management of the partner portal and all associated support software.
Making regular outgoing calls to partners and suppliers, to assist in the commercial, financial and operational aspects of partner business.
Establishing and maintaining sound working relationships with partners, colleagues and supervisors whilst keeping an accurate log of all incoming and outgoing calls.
Experience and skills required:
To be considered for this role you will have a proven track record in field sales, ideally within the telecoms or technology sector, whilst being happy with a 60/40 split office base and field base. We are also looking for account management and business development experience including the ability to identify new services with existing partners or customers, as well as excellent relationship building skills with a track record of having been able to maintain good relationships with partners or customers during trying times.
Personal characteristics required:
The ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills as well as determination and the ability to diplomatically influence and convince partners or customers to make the ‘right’ decisions. You will also have a flexible attitude and be happy with the solitude that comes with a field based role, as well as be an excellent team player and happy with being managed ‘virtually’.
