A fantastic opportunity for a skilled graphic and web designer to join our Gloucester based client. The successful candidate will be working as part of a friendly and forward looking creative team with core responsibilities involving meeting their clients’ requirements by coming up with high quality creative, appropriate and cost-effective work on time and within budget.
In more detail the role will involve meeting with clients to determine their needs and to develop the design briefs that suit the client’s web, digital and/or print requirements. It will then be your responsibility to take the projects forward, drawing up detailed specifications, producing sample layouts, designing graphics, animations and manipulating photographs and to present the finalised ideas and concepts to the clients or account managers. Once approved you will then be responsible for completing the projects on time and to budget whilst working in collaboration with the internal team of copywriters, photographers, illustrators, designers and web developers, hand over the completed product to the client and provide post-sales technical website support.
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded graphic and web designer with experience of design for print as well as the web. You will need to have excellent communication and good people skills, confident at presenting and able to get your ideas across. Attention to detail is also essential as is a well organised and methodical approach and an awareness of current relevant legislation and latest technologies.
This is a full time and permanent role on offer for a salary of up to £25K pa, depending on skills and experience, plus the chance to join a vibrant, creative and friendly organisation which will offer support as well as career progression opportunities to the right candidate.
