An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Middleweight Creative (art director) to join our prestigious and award winning client in Gloucestershire. The role involves originating concepts and developing campaigns for any channel but mostly in Digital, Social, DM, Experiential and anything else relating to CRM, in collaboration with their talented creative copywriter. In return you can expect a salary of between £28K to £32K plus excellent benefits including a contributory pension scheme, discounted membership on leisure facilities, staff socials and more.
To succeed in this you will be as handy with pad and pen as you are with Mac and mouse and able to take your concepts from scamp stage to beautifully crafted presentations. You will be expected to have a degree of client contact and as part of a close-knit team, communicate your ideas and then oversee them through to production. You’ll have expert knowledge across the Adobe suite and might even have some extra strings to your bow – video editing and design would be useful, but not essential.
To impress you will firstly need to present an excellent and impressive portfolio accompanied by the ability to generate fantastic creative concepts and at least 3 years’ experience of work within a similar role at a top creative agency. You will also need solid Digital, CRM and BTL experience and have a good understanding of digital devices and their impact on ideas and content creation. You will be happy and able to create storyboards and moodboards and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Finally, the right candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the marketing industry and of working with well-known brands whilst keeping up to date with the latest industry trends.
