Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Call Centre Team Manager to join our prestigious client within the insurance sector. The purpose of the role is to manage a team of sales agents targeted on sales delivery.

Through your knowledge, insight and understanding of your team you will help create a culture of continuous improvement. You will have exceptional commercial acumen and a natural focus on people management and excel in developing, training and coaching team members to ensure all sales, compliance and customer service targets are exceeded.

Specific duties will involve:

*Leading the team to deliver greater levels of individual/team performance and customer satisfaction and supporting the head of sales to deliver business targets and objectives and creating a performance orientated culture.
*Motivating, inspiring, coaching and developing all team members into a high performing team that exceeds performance targets and customer, insurer and colleague expectations. This will involve monitoring team performance, coordinating workloads to ensure maximum productivity, conducting regular performance reviews and identifying and appropriately addressing areas of under-performance.
*Acting as an escalation point for complaints and liaising directly with customers when required.
*Anticipating operational issues within the team and developing solutions based on logical reasoning and best practice.
*Taking responsibility for your own personal development in understanding the company’s business markets, regulation and the insurance industry in general and keeping up to date with any industry changes affecting the business and sharing this knowledge and best practice with team members.
*Working with the management team to identify and deliver positive change and business efficiencies through innovative thinking.

Your skills and experience:
You should already have experience of managing a sales team in a contact centre environment (not necessarily within insurance sales) but you do need to have an unstoppable drive and motivation to ensure all targets are exceeded. As a strong sales performer yourself, you will be able to identify areas in your team that need to be coached and have examples of where you have increased performance through your coaching, development and guidance. You’ll be motivated not only by the bonuses we offer but by the competition between you and the other Team Managers and the satisfaction of knowing your efforts have increased your team’s performance.

Alongside your excellent people skills you will also have to be able to work under pressure, manage your time effectively and work on your own initiative, thinking creatively about how you can make your team and the company better for our clients, partners and staff.
