Stock Control Assistant
Location: Gloucester
Profile: Full time permanent opportunity to join rapidly expanding company offering good career prospects. Trainee purchasing role with full training for the position and the products is offered, with on the job support thereafter.
Salary: £15500 plus bonus OTE £18000 – £19000 per annum
Experience: Previous experience in stock control
Excellent IT Skills – especially Excel
Qualifications: 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths and English
The Stock Control Assistant will play an important part within the company and team, with a key focus on achieving and exceeding stock control targets by liaising with manufacturing facilities and 3rd party suppliers.
This office based role will involve analysing and checking stock levels versus sales orders and controlling stock by gaining a good understanding of products and components and liaising with suppliers to help achieve company fulfilment or orders.
The Stock Control Assistant will have the ability to deal with enquiries from staff and suppliers in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable way.
The successful applicant will have excellent IT and organisation skills, good grammar and spelling, initiative to solve problems unaided and the ability and confidence to talk with suppliers over the phone.
