Quality Inspection Supervisor
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: to £43000 per annum plus benefits
Education: Apprenticeship trained or equivalent
Experience: Extensive supervisory experience within a Quality department
Proven experience in driving both continuous improvement and lean activities
CMM Operating experience is essential programming is ideal but not essential
Inspection knowledge and use of a wide variety of gauges and sophisticated measuring equipment (CMM, Roundness machine, Surface Analyser, etc.)
The Quality Inspection Supervisor will ensure the highest standards of quality, manage a team of quality specialists and will be an integral part of the Quality department and will focus on leading the team to success.
Working for a low volume, high value manufacturer of cutting-edge components, the Receiving Inspection team is responsible for ensuring supplied and processed parts meet rigorous quality standards.
The Quality Inspection Supervisor will be responsible for continually developing the team using leadership and coaching skills as well as providing day to day technical support on quality inspection activities.
This is an essential role within the business ensuring the overall quality of products supplied to customers.
As well as relevant supervisory experience within a Quality department, the Quality Inspection Supervisor will have sound judgement and technical skills to help support the team with daily inspection tasks and build respect, credibility and trust within a well-established team.
