Clinical Quality & Governance Lead
Location: London or option to work from home office
Profile: Permanent Opportunity with leading International Company
Salary: £55000 per annum plus benefits
Experience: Proven experience in a senior role managing implementation of quality improvement and accreditations within or providing services to the NHS
Proven track record in reviewing policies, auditing and advising continuous improvement
Strong project management skills and able to deliver under pressure
Qualifications: Degree (Preferred) in health care or qualification in related clinical field
The Clinical Quality and Governance Lead is responsible for the development and implementation of quality systems within the company. This will include ensuring compliance with statutory accreditations, as well as adherence to NICE and other guidelines. The role will require the development and review of processes, protocols and guidelines support the effective delivery of day to day clinical governance systems, accreditation systems (including statutory reporting) and quality improvement processes.
The Role will work closely with the governance team, the Director of Information and Clinical Governance, the CISO and other resources as required.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
*Maintenance of policy database and management of policy review/revision cycle
*Production of new clinical policies as required
*Revision of existing policies, in support of planned integration of policies
*Quality review of policies produced by others (to ensure compliance with documentary standards), and support for authors to achieve compliance, as required
*Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of requirements of relevant quality / governance regulators etc, and recommending changes to policies as appropriate
*Establishing and maintaining database of CAS alerts, and monitoring implementation of required actions
*Keeping key governance-related action plans up to date
*Supporting the Governance function with data collection and analysis as required
*Supporting the Governance function with good practice research and analysis as required
*Serves as a key resource on quality and related complex and/or critical issues
*Support the bid team; as a reviewer, as a SME and as a contributor / writer for Bids. Draft accurate, concise, complete and clear bid responses to the requirements and/or questions that speak to the intended audience and are in accordance with company International bid development standards, stylistic guidelines and formatting conventions
*Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.
