An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced PR & Communications Director to join our award-winning integrated agency client. The perfect candidate will be excited by the opportunity to co-direct the future direction and success of the PR and Comms department and have a natural interest in gaming or e-sports.
You will be primarily responsible for growing the PR & Communications offering with the objective of establishing a solid PR agency within a larger agency business, and in doing so, providing clients with best-in-class PR expertise.
This role is ideal for gaming or e-sports communications professionals with a proven track record of agency PR, and operating at a senior level. You will be confident in business development, and comfortable running a department P&L as well as have experience of managing and growing a team.
Your team’s role will involve press and influencer liaison, client management and campaign planning through strong communication, creative and strategic skills.
As a small team within a larger agency,you’ll spend time providing strategic guidance and oversight, and roll your sleeves up and get involved on retained accounts. You’ll provide senior client management and strategic comms support to clients, as well as helping your team with tactical PR roll out. Besides client projects, you will work hand in glove with the CMO, CSO and CEO.
This role would naturally suit someone with an inherent love of video games, videogame culture and who has a strong interest and in-depth knowledge of the current channels of communication best placed to speak to all types of gamer.
