Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and commercially focussed Marketing Manager to join our highly successful Swindon based client within the property sector. Key responsibilities will involve managing the marketing team in the development and delivery of a marketing strategy to support and promote our client’s business via a variety of platforms. The ideal candidate will be a solid all-round marketeer with a strong mix of B2B marketing skills, a track record or ROI delivery and will ideally come with experience from within the property, conveyancing or legal sector.

About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing the Marketing Manager will be playing a key role in the delivery of an effective marketing strategy to maintain national awareness of the business. It will be your task to build on the brand messaging and product roadmap to manage the delivery of effective digital campaigns, event programmes and support materials for the sales teams. You will be developing and implementing retention and acquisition strategies for the company’s platforms, creating and managing digital strategies, implementing effective email marketing and marketing automation campaigns, providing regular reports and analysis to the team, managing the budget whilst providing strong leadership, coaching, direction and support to the marketing team.

Skills and experience required:
We’ll be looking for an experienced, high caliber marketing manager, capable of taking an analytical and commercial approach to drive the marketing strategy forward, whilst possessing a strong mix of practical B2B marketing skills in order to multi-task and adapt to the needs of the team and the business on a day-to-day basis. Key skills we’ll be looking for are excellent organizational and team management skills to enable a close coordination of a variety of teams and the management of multiple projects. Good communication skills in terms of a high standard of spoken, written and presentation skills are crucial, as are excellent analytical skills in order to manage effective campaigns and to gain insight into customer needs and experiences.
The ideal candidate will come with a minimum of 5 years management experience as either a marketing, brand or product manager and experience of working with the full marketing mix, especially digital tools and techniques. Ideally you will come with a relevant marketing qualification or degree and experience from within the property, conveyancing or legal sector would be a distinct advantage but candidates from within a B2B technology environment will also be considered.
