Job Description
On behalf of our prestigious Cheltenham based client operating within a niche market in the food and drink industry we are looking for a Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will have experience at working across all levels of a business as the role will involve a wide variety of duties ranging from processing invoices (suppliers & customers), expenses, stock costings, VAT returns, insurance, credit control to P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, company secretarial duties, working capital management, month end management accounts and preparation of board meeting reports plus overseeing the work of the Finance Administrator.
To apply you should have demonstrable experience from within financial management, excellent communication and people management skills as well as a ACCA/CIMA/ACA full or part qualification, strong technical skills including advanced Excel and ideally SAGE 50 experience.
This is a permanent, full time role, based in a central Cheltenham location, working 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, with a 5pm finish on Fridays. The role offers a salary of £30 – 40K plus an attractive bonus.
