Electronics Test Engineer

Location: Gloucestershire

Profile: Permanent role with International Engineering Company. Opportunity to build on general engineering expertise to develop knowledge in hydraulics. Progressive career opportunity.

Salary: £25000 – £30500 per annum plus benefits

Hours : Mon-Fri days

Education & Qualifications: Time served apprentice, ONC/HNC or equivalent relevant Engineering discipline

Experience: Previous electronics experience or a good level of understanding and interest
A desire to develop a career in the field of development and test Engineering

The Electronics Test Engineer will join a multi skilled Research and Development Team that play a crucial role to the business and will support testing requirements on new components destined for flight critical aircraft systems.

The Electronics Test Engineer will learn from and work with the Test Technicians and Engineering Team to develop, build and run development/qualification tests. These tests will include vibration, impulse fatigue, endurance and thermal cycling. In addition to testing you will be involved in the assembly/test of prototype components and valves including those with integrated electronics.

This will suit an Electronics Engineering background and an interest to learn hydraulic skills, paired with the enthusiasm, drive and motivation to progress within this field
