Customer Services Associate – temp to perm – up to £22,000 pa (dependant on experience)
On behalf of our successful Oxford based client we are seeking a diligent Customer Services Associate to join their Commercial Team. The ideal candidate will come with at least two years from within a customer services role, will have experience of sales order processing, ideally having dealt with a global customer base and international deliveries including experience of using 3rd party carriage providers, as well as excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering a first-class customer service.
The principal responsibilities of the role will involve delivering an excellent service to the customers, managing telephone, email and chat enquiries to a satisfactory resolution, processing all sales orders with close attention to detail, including stock allocation using an ERP system and dealing with delivery issues. Core to the role will also be the requirement to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships and maximising any potential opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling whilst working to given targets in order to assist with the retention and growth of company sales.
We’ll be looking for candidates with relevant demonstrable experience of having worked in a similar role ideally within a multi-national company plus a track record of successfully and accurately managing customer’s orders and the ability to resolve any arising issues. You’ll need to be well organised, have an excellent eye for detail, with good problem-solving skills and excellent communication and relationship building skills.
