Business Analysis ConsultantLocation: Working either from the London office or Telecommuting/Working At Home, this position is based wherever most convenient for the applicant on a regular basis. However, meetings through various parts England are regular and often weekly. We will also sometimes require visits at client sites so travel is often 50 – 60% within England. Salary: £55000 per annum plus benefits.The company is a well-established international company.Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or equivalent work experience10+ years of experience in business/finance analysisExperience gathering requirements from the client/business and documentingExperience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes requiredAbility to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verballyAbility to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate dataAs a Business Analysis Consultant, you will be empowered to support short and long term operational/strategic business activities; develop, enhance and maintain operational information and models that will have an impact on business decisions. In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to take the contributions of analysts and create valuable solutions to improve the health care system.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex dataReview the analysis and interpretation of others workOversee ad-hoc client and operational reports developed and presented by othersPresent analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planningSupport short and long term operational/strategic business activities through analysisDevelop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processesSenior level analytic position involving responsibility for multiple projects with high levels of complexityAccepts projects upon request by internal client and/or assignment by senior department staffDiscusses project with client, supervisor, and/or team members to obtain a solid understanding of the issues involved and applicable requirements and due datesReviews and finalizes specifications for project with supervisorMaps the business problem into quantitative questions that can be answered through available data resourcesExperience of supporting contracting and commissioningWorks with appropriate data sets as needed to respond to a particular business problem; creates appropriate data sets where necessaryPrepares clear, succinct written and oral summaries, tables, charts, reports, or presentations for review by staff and other external partiesDevelops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of all of internal resources (including key databases and business experts) as needed to complete assigned projects in an accurate and timely mannerDevelops MS Access databases and reportsDevelops MS Excel pivot reports & other summary documentsAcquires a proficient knowledge of MS SQL to perform queries, build data sets, and develop reports in a manner consistent with departmental methods, procedures, and standardsWorks in a collaborative manner with senior department staff to test all results for consistency and reasonableness before results are forwarded to the clientPlans schedule according to availability and quantity of resources, and number and priority of assignments to complete current projects on a timely basisDevelops close relationships with internal and external clients to foster a customer-friendly environmentEnjoy Recruitment Group acts as an employment agency and as an employment business as defined by the Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations 2003.
