Assembly & Test Technicians

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £30000 per annum pro rata , Permanent and 6 month contracts available as temporary, umbrella or limited, possibility of contract extensions.

Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship trained or equivalent

Experience of gearing and electrical assemblies will also be of interest

Experience: Previous experience of working in a similar role in the Aerospace industry desirable.

Our well-established and highly successful client, a market leader in their field, are seeking Assembly & Test Technicians to join their team.
Key responsibilities include: precision assembly of valves, manifolds and actuators; cleaning new and aftermarket parts/assemblies ready for assembly; strip and rebuild valves/manifolds for service; strip and rebuild reworks for rectification; wirelocking, labelling and finishing activities; set up valve manifolds and actuators on manual and computerised test stands from set-up to final test; and diagnostics.
You will have a strong ability to work from engineering drawings, have previously carried out quality audits and have previous experience of cleaning, strip, assembly and flow matching. In addition, you will have excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
