A fantastic opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join our client, a successful company based in the North Cotswolds. Candidates must be skilled Excel users with a flair for numbers and maths. The role will suit either a college leaver or someone with some experience from within a similar role looking to progress their career. On offer is a salary ranging from £18 – 25K pa, depending on experience, plus excellent job progression opportunities and the chance to join a company within an exciting and growing industry sector!
The successful candidate will be involved in preparing detailed estimates and bids for work required by clients using all data available and a variety of tools including MS Excel in order to achieve the most accurate result. It will also involve corresponding with sub-contractors, customers, architects and engineers and regularly coordinate with the project manager with regards to all bidding projects.
To apply candidates must demonstrate strong maths and excellent MS Excel skills as well as good communication skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Experience from within a construction, building or architectural environment will be of advantage, but full training will be provided on the job.
