Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious Trade Marketing Manager to join our dynamic client based in South Gloucestershire to deliver the Sales and Marketing plan in a multi-channel environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and should be willing to challenge the status quo to ensure development of brands and products.
Key responsibilities will involve:
*Develop marketing, advertising and promotional activities including digital and social media content.
*Implement effective communications strategy to promote brand awareness across all channels.
*Ensure impactful marketing materials are provided on time and within budget to support company presence at key annual events.
*Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to develop effective plans in conjunction with the Sales team.
*Support New Product Development through market insights and competitor information.
*Provide high quality market insights to enable innovative product development across both the Travel and Education sectors.
*Deliver regular market analysis to the Senior Management team to support effective decision making.
We will be looking for a confident self-starter with a Marketing Degree or equivalent qualification and solid experience of working with the full marketing mix. You should have excellent numeracy, literacy and IT skills (MS Office), strong copy writing and first class written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build good relationships and work collaboratively across functions to get the best possible results for the business. You will also need to be able to handle pressure, work to deadlines and have strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of the foodservice and/or education market would be of advantage.
The role offers a salary of up to £35K dependent on experience, and will involve ad hoc UK and European travel.
