Job Description

Our prestigious client with offices in Oxford is seeking a Team Secretary for their residential building consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an efficient support service to the team and overall effective secretarial support. This would be a very attractive role for well a organised candidate with approximately 2 – 3 years’ experience from within a similar role. It’s full time and permanent and offers a salary of between £20 – 24K pa (doe) plus attractive company benefits.

What will the role involve?
This is a very interesting and varied role involving essentially the provision of secretarial and admin support to the team including diary and email management, audio/copy typing, dealing with telephone enquiries, document preparation, electronic and manual filing and archiving and assisting with the organization of meeting, conferences, etc. It will also involve some financial tasks such as raising invoices and processing supplier invoices, maintenance and reporting of team fees and managing the petty cash and expenses.
What skills and experience are required?

We’ll be looking for candidates with experience from within a similar role with a strong secretarial or administrative background, good numeracy and very good spoken and written English language and communication skills. You will need to have strong IT skills including advanced Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and good typing skills (60+ wpm). You will need to be flexible, come with a proactive and motivated approach and able to work to tight deadlines whilst taking pride in producing high quality and accurate work.
