What will the role involve?
Working as part of a close knit and dynamic team environment, the successful candidate will essentially be responsible for the design, development and on-going management of the company’s operational and transactional websites. You will contribute to the planning and development lifecyle for each website, analyse, plan and design solutions to meet customer requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. You will be responsible for the amendment, creation and maintenance of the layout, visual appearance and usability of key websites, and ensure brand guidelines are adhered to.

What skills and experience are required?
We’ll be looking for candidates with extensive experience of designing user interfaces for web and native mobile applications with a strong portfolio showing your digital design skills including strong typographic and page layout skills. You will need to be able to analyse, understand and resolve research user problems and come with good and confident communication skills and an ambitious and enthusiastic attitude. In terms of technical abilities, a good understanding of HTML and CSS applied to responsive web designs and good knowledge of digital design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, XD or similar will be essential. Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, or experience creating interactive design prototypes using PowerPoint, HTML or XD would be of advantage, as would be some knowledge of cross browser issues and solutions as well as familiarity with agile development processes.

What does the role offer?
