Job Description
We are currently looking for a .Net Developer to join our successful Cheltenham based client within the insurance sector to work as a senior member of their team of .Net developers. We’ll be looking for someone with the ability to translate business requirements into solution designs whilst also managing, coaching and developing a small team.
Principal duties will involve:
*Controlling the development and management of software solutions for a key client
*Delivering systems and procedures to manage and protect group assets
*Coaching, mentoring, appraising and developing other members of the development team
*Acting as a technical lead for the team
You’ll need to have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft .Net development, Web development, database development and management and knowledge of industry best practice. We’ll also be looking for several years of experience within a similar role, ideally within the financial services sector, excellent communication skills across all levels, the ability to work well under pressure and a willingness and capability to act as coach and mentor within the development team.
The role is on offer for a salary of up to £45K plus benefits.
