A fantastic opportunity for a senior marketing professional with experience from within the financial services industry to join our successful client, a well-established specialist insurance provider. This is a brand new role, and as part of the company’s senior leadership team it will provide the opportunity for you to make it your own, to help build and lead a new marketing function, to design and ensure delivery of the brand and communication strategy, take responsibility for the department’s budget, resources and activities and own the marketing content and collateral that promotes the businesses’ people, brands and propositions in its target B2B markets, whilst effectively leading, directing and nurturing your team, enabling them to ensure a smooth delivery of all activities.
To apply, you should hold a master’s degree or equivalent qualification and experience within marketing. We’ll be looking for a proven track record of effectively leading B2B online and offline marketing communications and of having been involved in building successful B2B brands. Experience from within financial services marketing, particularly individual protection and/or UK group risk markets and product knowledge is also essential, along with excellent communication and people management skills.
This is a full time and permanent role on offer for a salary of between £60 – 70K pa, depending on experience, plus attractive benefits. The role will primarily be based at the clients’ offices in Gloucester, with frequent visits to the Birmingham offices, and travel to London and across the UK as and when required.
