Job Description
On behalf of our prestigious Cheltenham based client operating within a niche market in the food and drink industry we are looking for a highly organised Quality Assurance Administrator with a keen eye for detail. The role will involve providing administrative support across a range of areas including creating and reviewing product specifications, organizing and administering the production change process and dealing with complaints and supermarket online systems for their products.
The role includes but is not limited to:
*Maintain and update online supermarket product specifications
*Retailers Quality Attribute Sheets
*Monitoring retailer online systems alerts – distributing them and liaising with suppliers
*Complaints – logging, replying to complaint letters received, highlighting the trends to QAM
*Food safety certification up to date administration
*SEDEX including SAQ and membership
*Fairtrade – keeping all partners up to date, administration of fair trade process
*Organising any supportive technical documentation from suppliers including ingredients, technical sheets analysis etc.
*Organising Own Label packaging technical sheets and food approved certification
*Stock review and highlighting any slow moving products
*Assist QAM in gaining and maintaining BRC accreditation
*Holiday cover for sending and receiving of product samples
The successful candidate will be highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong IT skills (particularly Excel and internet based systems). Experience from within the food and drink industry or technical, chemistry, biology knowledge is not essential but could be of advantage.
