A fantastic opportunity for an efficient PA to join our client, a thriving business within the hospitality sector at their headquarters in Cheltenham. The core purpose of the role will be to effectively assist the Managing Director in the management of the overall and everyday running of the business. The role will involve some occasional travel around the South West of England and is on offer for an attractive salary of between £25 – 28K pa, dependant on experience.
Reporting directly to the MD the role will involve a wide range of responsibilities such as day to day office management, ordering stationary, answering all calls and emails, taking minutes and actively participating in meetings, managing diaries and arranging travel for the managers, filing, purchase orders, assisting with the completion of accounts and assisting with recruitment within the overall business.
This extremely varied and interesting role would suit candidates with solid all round secretarial and office management experience. We’ll be looking for candidates with excellent communication, organisational and prioritising skills. You’ll need to be able to work well on your own initiative and on your own in the MDs absence. Good IT skills are a must, particularly knowledge of Apple Mac and Microsoft office, experience of updating websites and using Ebay will be important too and an interest in or experience from within the hospitality industry a distinct advantage.
