Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced ASP.NET Developer to join our dynamic North Gloucestershire based client to work on cutting edge solutions on behalf of their clients. They are looking for someone who will become an integral part of the business and senior management team, with excellent coding as well as good people skills and at least 7 to 10 years of commercial development experience including customer facing experience and the ability to mentor and build a team of developers.
The role will involve working as part of a small team on a variety of really interesting and cutting edge projects for a mixture of B2B clients ranging from blue chip to SMEs. The successful candidate will have the ability to write well designed, testable and maintainable code alongside good analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to establish close relationships with senior business associates in order to understand their requirements and to come up with appropriate solutions.
Further technical requirements are:
*Strong knowledge and experience of Greenfield applications development
*Strong Object Oriented design knowledge including experience in N-Tier architectures, SOLID principles and relevant design patterns
*Knowledge of a range of platforms including client-server and backend integrations
*Knowledge of Enterprise .NET technologies – C# (3.5 to 4.5), WCF, Web API, Web forms and MVC
*Microsoft Azure exposure/experience
*StructureMap and AutoMapper experience
*Entity Framework and SQL Server 2008/2012 – highly experienced in T-SQL – stored procedure, complex queries and triggers
*Knowledge of writing highly deployable, web-based software applications
*Git and hosted TFS experience
*Agile development methodologie (SCRUM)
*Strong knowledge about server and hosting platforms as well as cloud platforms
This is a full time and permanent role on offer for a salary of up to £50K pa, plus the chance to become part of a dynamic and exciting organisation!
