Job Description

On behalf of our highly successful Bristol based client who work with some of the worlds biggest FMCG brands such as Nestlé, PepsiCo, Mattel and Coca-Cola we are seeking a Midweight Designer with a passion for print design, typography, branding and experience from within consumer packaging design. They will be looking for someone with a good understanding of the creative process from inception through to delivery, experience of ensuring brand continuity and the ability to bring strong ideas and fresh thinking to the table in order to meet their clients’ challenges.

What does the role entail?
Key responsibilities will involve all aspects of creative work including idea generation, concept exploration, design development and finalisation, delivering both high quality and well considered design solutions to meet client’s needs whilst acting as brand guardian and maintaining the agency’s high standards and excellence. All of this will be achieved as part of a collaborative process, working with colleagues and external specialists to achieve the best possible results.

What skills and experience are required?
The successful candidate will come with 2 – 4 years of experience in packaging design, branding and identity with a strong portfolio to match with experience of designing for the FMCG sector, strong Adobe CS skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), ideally backed up by a degree within fine arts or graphic design. We’ll also be looking for a very good understanding of the print process and technology, excellent communication and organisational skills alongside a keen eye for detail.

What does the role offer?
