Job Description
On behalf of our award-winning Gloucestershire based client we are seeking an IT Engineer with a passion for all things IT to join their skilled team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing first line support within a busy TCP/IP networked environment with specific responsibilities such as IT procurement, backup management, desktop application support, security, network services, printer support, PC and Apple Mac builds, software and hardware upgrades, network support and telephone exchange administration.
Ideally you should have around 2-3 years’ experience from within an IT technical support environment with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills across all levels, a positive attitude and approach to problem solving as well as the following experience and skills:
*A good understanding of current internet technologies
*Windows Server software and installations
*Windows Desktop software and hardware installations
*TCP/IP networking
*AD Management
*Microsoft SQL Server Management
*Sound Microsoft Office skills
*Scripting skills would be an advantage
*Apple OS X experience would be an advantage
