Job Description
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Engineer to join our award-winning Gloucestershire based client for a 12 months’ contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing first line support within a busy TCP/IP networked environment with specific responsibilities such as IT procurement, backup management, desktop application support, security, network services, printer support, PC and Apple Mac builds, software and hardware upgrades, network support and telephone exchange administration.
Ideally you should have around 2-3 years’ experience from within an IT technical support environment with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills across all levels, a positive attitude and approach to problem solving as well as the following experience and skills:
*A good understanding of current internet technologies
*Windows Server software and installations
*Windows Desktop software and hardware installations
*TCP/IP networking
*AD Management
*Microsoft SQL Server Management
*Sound Microsoft Office skills
*Scripting skills would be an advantage
*Apple OS X experience would be an advantage
This is a full time 12-month contract role on offer for a salary of between £30 – 35K pa pro rata plus attractive benefits and the chance to work for a well-established and successful organization in the heart of the Cotswolds!
