Job Description

HR generalist to join this Gloucestershire based brand name at a critical time in it’s development. My client seek hard working, career focused individuals who want to continue in their journey in HR in a developed company undergoing change. Significant opportunity to get involved in most aspects of Generalist HR especially recruitment and selection, performance management and employee relations.

This role will suit someone focused on their HR career and keen to maintain momentum by being involved in most elements of large company HR issues. Would best suit a natural communicator, honest and approachable with excellent communication skills.

Principle duties:

Review, develop and give advice on HR policies and procedures.
Ensure that all HR systems are fully utilised.
Advise on employment legislation and advise on grievance and disciplinary issues.
Be actively involved in the full range of HR issues including conditions of service, employee relations, absence management, severance and redeployment.
Work on recruitment requisitions. Offering advice and guidance on alternatives such as internal resourcing and restructuring.
Increase management recruitment assessment capability and attend all management interviews.
Create management reports and analyse findings with recommendations for change
Support managers in maximising staff performance.
Minimise sickness absence by working with managers
Directly manage a small number of HR Assistants and HR Coordinator.
