Job Description
A fantastic opportunity for a Head of Project Management to join our award winning client based in the heart of the Cotswolds. The role involves responsibility for the management and leadership of the PMO as well as assisting the delivery of projects. You will have strong Project Management experience, preferably in a creative digital environment as well as proven personnel management skills.
This is very much a hands on role as you will be taking charge of and develop the diverse and highly skilled Project Management team, ensuring their efforts are maximized whilst getting involved in the projects yourself. This will involve improving processes, identifying training needs and refining how the department interacts with the other departments across the business.
As the head of the department you will be expected to take responsibility for the delivery of all projects on time and within budget whilst communicating closely with other department heads and senior management and ensuring adherence to best practice and standards.
In addition to advanced leadership and excellent communication skills the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
*5 or more years of management experience
*Management experience within a fast paced digital agency environment
*Experience in developing or maintaining project methodologies and management tools
*Thorough understanding of budgeting, project management and resource management
*Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
*Proven ability and successful track record to work closely at Directorate level
*Strong negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills
*Experience of working within ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management standards
*PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification
