PA to Chairman – 6 month contract – up to £30K pa (doe)
Our prestigious client, an independent consultancy with offices in Oxford, is seeking an efficient and pro-active PA to support their Regional Chairman. The key purpose of the role will be to offer full support to the Chairman as well as act as point of liaison between the regional offices to ensure all feedback and activities between the offices are streamlined. This is a 6-month maternity cover contract on offer for a salary of up to £30K plus excellent benefits.
The role will involve a range of PA duties on behalf of the Regional Chair such as managing the Chair’s diary, arranging appointments, preparing reports and papers for meetings, taking minutes, typing of correspondence, taking care of all incoming calls and emails, filing and research. Further tasks relating to the liaison between the regional offices will involve regular contact with all office managers, acting as a point of contact and troubleshooter for them, regular visits to the offices and carrying out regular office audits to ensure compliance as well as assisting with the hiring and training of new staff and keeping an eye on office incomes and expenditures.
The ideal candidate will come with experience of having worked as a PA or EA at an executive level with office management experience and a good commercial acumen. Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, Power Point with excellent word processing and mail merge skills and a good typing speed of at least 60wpm will be essential. We’ll be looking for candidates with a supportive yet assertive and pro-active mindset!
