We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our prestigious client based in West Gloucestershire. Key purpose of the role will be to deliver a first-class and pro-active service to our client’s partners through effective relationship building with the result of achieving increased sales whilst meeting set targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining trusted relationships whilst gaining a good understanding of their client’s business and how to meet their future needs. It will be your role to identify their needs and to cross-sell and up-sell the company’s services in order to achieve additional business and meet set targets.
We’ll be looking for someone who is motivated and commercial minded but also with strong empathy skills and ability to understand their partner’s business. You’ll need to have strong communication and good telephone skills and ability to use a variety of methods and tools in order to assess and communicate complex issues. The role is 90% phone based working as part of a friendly team. Previous customer services and B2B experience will be ideal.
This is a permanent and full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. The salary on offer is a basic remuneration of £18K pa plus on target earnings to achieve £20 – £22K pa.
