Reconciliation & Cashbook AssociateLocation: GloucestershireProfile: 9-12 month Full Time fixed term contract opportunity with International Company
Salary: £15000 to £20000 per annum Experience: Experience of working with bank reconciliations with high volume transactionsExperience of PeopleSoft GL will be an advantageKnowledge of Internet BankingThe Reconciliation & Cashbook Associate is responsible for the reconciliation of all bank accounts to the PeopleSoft GL cashbooks, and any processing of manual journals required.This will involve liaising with the Treasury Manager and the Financial Accounting Manager, as well as all relevant internal departments and external clients including banking institutionsKey tasks to include:-Perform bank reconciliations to the ledger and follow up on un-reconciled itemsDaily controls for all transactions into the cashbook electronically and manually, ensuring timely & accurate completion at scheme levelEnsure all bank account reconciliations are performed and reported within the agreed on a timely basisAll P&L and Balance sheet accounts to have cashbook journals maintained and posted on a daily basis and within the agreed timescalesEnsure all bank reconciliations are supported with the relevant documentation and are authorised prior to filingLiaise with banks on any discrepancies and follow to conclusionAttend monthly review meetings to explain and give an account of all unreconciled itemsDistribute and maintain supporting documentation and reconciliation files on a daily basisEnjoy Recruitment Group acts as an employment agency and as an employment business as defined by the Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations 2003.
