Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an App Developer with a passion for all things digital to join our award winning and highly creative Oxfordshire based client. Working as part of a talented and well established mobile development team, the successful candidate will be involved in building mobile applications from scratch through to completion for a wide variety of projects. You’ll be working closely with a cross-functional team, develop high quality code, design and deliver validation requirements, work on bug-fixing and improving existing mobile applications and working in a variety of development processes, including Agile.
The ideal candidate will have a good creative flair and a proven track record of a minimum of 3 years’ software development, with 2 years + experience of native iOS experience. Other required technical experience and skills are:
-Objective-C , with experience with Swift preferred
-Modular, MVC and Object-oriented programming concepts, including design patterns
-Delivery, provisioning and distribution of iOS applications
-Apple frameworks, including Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Autolayout
-Development of modular design and layered implementation
-Understanding of web services and back-end integration, including JSON & XML
-Understanding of memory management, manual and ARC
-Git experience, understanding branching workflows
-Integration of app analytics
-Validation and integration testing combined with Continuous Integration experience – ideally with MacOS Server.
-App security controls and standards including encryption, authorization and authentication
Experience of work gained form within a digital agency would be of advantage, though not essential, as would be knowledge of deploying apps. MDM and Enterprise, Ionic, Angular, HTML, JS and CSS as well as Android experience.
